Kwakwani businessman nabbed with narcotics

first_imgRanks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) arrested a businessman of Kwakwani, Upper Berbice River, Region 10 on Thursday at about 17:10h after they allegedly found a quantity of compressed marijuana at his home.The Police report that, acting on information received, a party of Policemen from ‘E’ Division went to the Kwakwani Water Front home of the 31-year-old businessman and carried out a search, during which the cannabis was found in several small Ziplock bags.The narcotic was later weighed and amounted to 110 grams. The suspect has since been taken into custody, and is being processed for court.last_img read more
