According to a report from Mike Uva of Columbia’s Fox affiliate, defensive tackle Josh Belk is no longer a part of the South Carolina football program.Rumors of his decision to leave South Carolina leaked earlier this week, though details of the decision remain mum. According to the report from Uva, Belk was allegedly having a difficult time getting along with his teammates, leading to his decision to leave the team.Belk had initially committed to and enrolled at Clemson before he decided to transfer from the Tigers. According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Belk was a four-star recruit and the No. 7 defensive tackle in the nation.He made seven total tackles for the Gamecocks this season – registering stats in four games for the team. The former top recruit made headlines in the team’s bowl game thanks to his name.South Carolina played against Virginia in the Belk Bowl, where Belk made three tackles in the Gamecocks’ 28-0 loss.
