World Life Experience pays volunteers to travel the world for a year

first_imgSomething for the weekend: Looking to escape the nine-to-five office grind? Social responsibility organisation World Life Experience is paying 11 individuals to travel across 23 cities worldwide in an all-expenses paid, year-long trip to do volunteer work at non-governmental organisations (NGOs).Successful applicants undertaking the one-year trip, which has been designed to highlight social, environmental and cultural diversity, will receive a salary of €2,500 (£2,202.31) a month. Furthermore, all expenses, such as travel, lodgings, food, activities, insurance and basic healthcare, will also be paid by World Life Experience in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.The team of 11 chosen participants will therefore be paid to travel across five continents and share their experiences across social media. The intrepid explorers will visit locations such as Lisbon, Granade, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Sarajevo, Skopje, Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Tlaxiaco, San Jose, Bogota, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Curitiba and Sao Paulo.Interested individuals can apply to join the World Life Experience team until 20 July 2018 with a €9 entry fee. To be eligible, applicants must be aged between 21 and 39, have intermediary English skills and be willing to work as part of a group. The organisation is also looking for candidates who are responsible, empathic, respectful, tolerant, communicative, proactive and flexible.Candidates will need their pens at the ready, however, as they are required to complete a form, three questionnaires, an English test and a psychological evaluation test. They will also need to upload a self-promotional video and complete a Skype interview.The final group of travellers will be announced on 30 September 2018, with the trip starting on 15 January 2019.
